Akil Francisco

Akil Francisco was born on May 4th, 1999 in Berkeley, California. He grew up in the East Bay / Alameda California, where he was raised by his Uncle John Francisco and Grandparents Irene and Sonny, after the passing of his parents. Akil's father, Michael "Dream" Francisco, was a legendary figure in the graffiti world, known for his incredible artwork and impact on the community. His mother, Nicole Sellers, was a loving and passionate woman who quickly adapted to the Bay Area and its lively culture.

Despite the challenges of losing both of his parents at a young age, Akil was able to find success in his academic and athletic pursuits. In high school, he was an athletic kid and earned multiple football scholarship offers from schools like University of Hawaii, University of Wyoming, and Sacramento State. Ultimately, he decided to attend the University of Hawaii, where he pursued a bachelor's degree in Human Development and family studies.

After graduation, Akil was inspired to continue his father's legacy by creating clothing and merchandise, as well as a cannabis company called Dream Genetics. Additionally, he has pursued a modeling career, which has been a new and exciting challenge for him.

Throughout his life, Akil has been blessed with a strong support system, including his uncle, grandparents, and extended family and friends. He credits them with helping to mold him into the man he is today, and for instilling in him the morals and values that he holds dear. Despite the ups and downs that life has thrown his way, Akil remains grateful for the opportunities he has been given and for the chance to carry on his father's legacy.
